Designed for more choppy water situations, Calypso is longer and easier to keep the view area from getting water in it.  The rest of the kayak is a sit on top design made to self drain water out of boat.  The Calypso Tandem Kayak is a different addition to the Caribe Clear Kayak family. It was designed to limit the replacement cockpit scratches by not stepping on it, but limits visibility.
